Hi, my name's
Daniel. I'm in year 9.
I enjoy sport, creative arts, company of my friends and family, and challenging my brain.
Sport - My main sport is tennis. I've been playing since the beginnig of 2000. I'm not up to Roger Federer
standard yet, but you never know, one day it may happen. I also play a bit of cricket. I haven't been playing it that long,
but I can be a handy left-arm finger-spinner.
Creative Arts - I've been a left-handed bass guitarist for the almost four years. My music hero is Sir Paul
McCarney. I'm trying to get my voice into shape. It's pretty good so far, but it goes out of tune really badly half the time.
I'm also writing a series of novels called "The MyLife Series". You can read the books for yourself, because I'm not giving away
anything about them. The only thing I'm saying about them is that I wrote them.
Friends and Family - I have a huge, but awesome, family. My parents are cool, I wouldn't trade them in for
anything, except eternal life with God. But I wouldn't trade them in for any earthly wellbeing. I have 13 coolio cuzins. And too
many other relos to put on this page.
Challenging my brain - This is stuff like sudokus and brain teasers, and all that type of stuff.
Parents
Father - My dad, Andrew, works in a company called CD ROM Services. CD ROM Services duplicates CDs, DVDs and
all the stuff like that. He has his own website, and one of his main interests is 3D photogaphy, in which he takes a great passion.
Mother - My mum, Julie, unfortunately passed away early November '05 thanks to a double cerebral hemorrhage
(two blood clots in the brain), which came as a shock. She was heavily ino knitting and counted cross-stitch and sewing, and all
that type of stuff. Forever and always will she be in my heart.
Step-Mother - Ros and dad were married in mid February 2007. I was a groomsman at their wedding. Ros works in the
Department of Housing in Liverpool. She enjoys shopping, writing and reading. She doesn't get much time to do those, however,
because she loves her hubby so much
I also own a cat called Ginger, who can be a real scaredy-cat at
times, but he can also be very affectionate. He likes catching mice and other
small creatures. He was AWOL for about two months when we moved house, but we've got him back.
Since you've read this far, you'll probably want to know who my favourite famous people are. My favourite sprtsman is
Rafael Nadal, the left-handed, tennis-playing Spaniard who's well known for close matches againt Roger Federer. My favourite muso
is Paul McCartney, the left-handed bass guitarist, famous as a member of the Beatles, and of Wings, and who also had a solo career.
My favourite author is John Marsden, I've read 'The Tomorrow Series' and now I'm hooked onto his other books as well.
I am a Christian. I believe that God created the earth for us to live on. I believe that he sent his one and only son down to us,
I believe he was sent so he could save us from our sins. I believe he rose from death after three days, after dying on a cross. I believe everything
the Bible says. I believe that God is still working through people today. I belive that God has a purpose for all of us. I believe that
we should love each other like God loves us. I believe that we need to deny ourselves, take up our crosses, and follow Him (Matthew, 16:24).
